Here I am back from holiday after a pleasant break around the centre and west coast of Scotland. The weather was very mixed but it did not stop us enjoying ourselves. Here are one or two photos of the area's we visited.
Loch Linnhe and The Falls of Dochart
Mike at very windy Nairn Beach and Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge
Hopefully I will be back into the swing of crafting again soon!
Made this card today for my friend who lost her mum a few weeks ago. I had a visit from her today and she is not doing so good which is understandable in the circumstances. My heart goes out to her and her family and I wish there was something more I could do to help.
Won't be around much this next week as we are off on holiday for a few days. Take care folks and haste ye back....
No crafting yesterday as I took the bus through to Montrose and met my pal for the day. We had lunch above a local bakery which was lovely and then we had a stroll around the centre of the town. Came across an very upmarket hairdresser and decided to take the plunge and have my hair cut and styled. It badly needed it as it had not been cut for 7 months LOL. Will take a bit of getting used to as it is so straight at the front but layered and shaped at the back.
Promised you I would let you see my new Cuttlebug embossing folders if I managed to have a play with them. Well here they are and I am really pleased with them and the results. What do you think?

This one is using the new borders as a central flower.
Made this card after reading a tutorial at Inspirational, Tips & Techniques & Tutorials. I have been wanting to get nestabilities for ages so this tutorial gave me lots of ideas. Love how it turned out. I didn't have a round punch but improvised and used a balloon punch instead.

At least the sun is shining today which makes me feel better anyway. don't know about anyone else but my moods seem to be affected by whatever the weather is like! OH came home last night in need of a sympathy card for a business colleague so I came up with this.
Similar to one I did previous but it was at short notice. Hoping to make a few cards with my new cuttlebug folders which arrived today. Will post them later if I get the time. Haste ye back.....
A dull and miserable day here today but have my ladies for their craft class this afternoon so hoping that will cheer me up. Will see how they got on doing their stitching on their own for last week's project. This week it is so straightforward just lots of cutting and layering for a simple but stylish card. Hope they like it.....
After my grand-daughter's left with their parents I spend some time playing around with my new Rubberstamp Tapestry stamps again. I then mounted them onto card stock then added some embellishments. I decided to call them 'buttons and bows' for obvious reasons. I am pleased how they both turned out, but not sure what I will do with them.
