Christmas greetings

I must apologize to any followers who have been disappointed with the lack of cards and postings this year. It has not been a good year for me health wise and my cards and blogs have been sadly neglected. I did make family cards during the year but only posted a few. I am hoping to turn over a new leaf in the New Year and do more.

Update

It's been quite a while since I have been on my blog so apologies to everyone. I am still in a lot of pain with my hand and arm so not much cards being made. I am now waiting for an operation which hopefully will happen in the next few months. Meantime I have made a couple of cards - one for my grand-daughter's 18th and one RSVP for a wedding invite. Nothing fancy just added the usual glitter, ribbons and jewels.

In memory

A happy picture of my mum and dad holding lots of memories for me as this would have been my dad's 98th birthday on the 23rd and the anniversary of my mum's passing on the 21st April. Almost ten years since my dad died and eight years for my mum.
They had been married 67 years when my dad died and had very rarely been parted apart from the War years.
They are so much in my mind and so much missed especially when a birthday or mother/father's day comes around.
Very much missed by me and all my family. x

A few cards

At last after lots of hic-cups here are a couple of cards that I made last month. Nothing fancy I printed them off of my GCF programme and added some jewels to give them that finished look.
Best I can do just now as I am in so much pain with my right arm, shoulder and hand. It's a start!

Neglected

My poor neglected blog I have not posted anything since I came home late November from Canada. I can only say that I have been really unwell since coming home and the horrible winter that we have had in this part of Scotland has not helped matters much.
I have made a few cards this year but have not bothered to post them on my blog so I will have to get my fingers out when I am feeling a bit better and make some cards.
Apologies to any of my blog followers for the lack of imput but wishing you all well for the coming year and happy crafting!.

Just a little more!

Well my last posting for a while as we are off to Canada via Glasgow on Sunday!
I have been getting the most out of my Greetings Card deluxe programme and have made some more cards. I decorated most with some ribbon, pearls and some glamour dust to finish them off. I have not had the time to sit and make up something from scratch as have so much to do before Sunday, so I hope you like what I have come up with.

Steps Back in Amazement!

Amazing here I am after all these months of silence and posting! I feel really guilty and have no excuses for the absence - I just didn't feel like crafting or chatting.
Health wise the specialist finally put me onto insulin injections and although at first I was really disappointed and concerned about the weight problems it has turned out better than expected. My blood sugars are finally getting near normal, also my blood pressure and I have managed to keep the weight off that I lost so I am well pleased. Won't say it's been perfect as have had lots of problems with my arthritis and other things but I'm not complaining.
I have made a few cards in lieu of going of on holiday next month so I will be posting them over the next few weeks. Here are the first three so hope you like them as I have kept it simple with just a few embellishments.
