Kick Stand Card

Tuesday and my volunteer day, will find out which card my customer picks today!
Meantime to keep you folks going I have made another Sarah Kay card and borrowed
the idea of the Kick Stand card from
Bev - hope she doesn't mind.

Colours are actually greens, lilacs and white but does not show up in photo well. i.e. tag is lilac!

Choices!

Monday again, another week and hopefully some nice weather on its way. Today is gorgeous here, warm and sunny which I crave! After doing some clearing up, washing etc I made another card for my customer so that she has a choice - either the Fred said flowers or this one. Which one do you think she will choose?

Decoupaged water lily and glazed it, added background paper, nestabilities, ribbon and jewels from stash.

UPDATE - she choose the Fred said flowers card!

Son's Birthday

I also made a card for my oldest son's birthday and as he is a football fan I thought the La Pashe series would be perfect. I mounted the card onto a canvas back so that he can hang it like a small picture and I also made a box for it. Hope you like it.

Stamping

Well the painter is here at last, so while I am banished to my dining room I thought I would make a card for one of the ladies that comes to my crafting class as she is in hospital.
Hopefully she will be back home next week and feeling a bit better.

I played around with some more of my stamps, really getting back into stamping with all the brilliant blogs on the go just now.

I used a Hero Arts stamp and also some of my Rubber Tapestry stamps for around the edges and the butterfly. The inks are Brilliance dew drops and Versa Color, Laura Ashley papers and some from my stash. The flower is coffee and streaked with the Brilliance dew drops which gave it a lovely two tone colour but the picture does not do it justice.

Sympathy cards

In my excitement of receiving an award almost forgot to post pictures of latest cards I have made. Again they are for sad occasions but I suppose we have to do them along with the happy ones like birthdays, etc.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and haste ye back.........

Cards

Thursday and July already, where has the week gone! Have not been feeling so good these last few days but had to get up real early this morning as the painter was coming to start on our kitchen. Well, as the weather has been good he didn't show, probably finishing off the work he has to do outside on another job first.
As I had time on my hands I decided to have a go with the Remember When decoupage series that I had ordered last week. Not sure if I am happy with the finished result but have quite a few male birthdays coming up so will persevere.

I played around some and came up with this second card which I like better.

Used my Keepsake borders, clear flower stamp, versa ink pads, and ribbon. I used a round punch and cut out patterned circles then layered them around the oval. What do you think?

Friendship

Made this card today for my friend who lost her mum a few weeks ago. I had a visit from her today and she is not doing so good which is understandable in the circumstances. My heart goes out to her and her family and I wish there was something more I could do to help.

Won't be around much this next week as we are off on holiday for a few days. Take care folks and haste ye back....

New Cuttlebug Folders

Promised you I would let you see my new Cuttlebug embossing folders if I managed to have a play with them. Well here they are and I am really pleased with them and the results.
What do you think?

This one is using the new borders as a central flower.

Tutorial

Made this card after reading a tutorial at Inspirational, Tips & Techniques & Tutorials. I have been wanting to get nestabilities for ages so this tutorial gave me lots of ideas. Love how it turned out. I didn't have a round punch but improvised and used a balloon punch instead.

Haste ye back....

Wednesday

At least the sun is shining today which makes me feel better anyway. don't know about anyone else but my moods seem to be affected by whatever the weather is like! OH came home last night in need of a sympathy card for a business colleague so I came up with this.

Similar to one I did previous but it was at short notice. Hoping to make a few cards with my new cuttlebug folders which arrived today. Will post them later if I get the time.
Haste ye back.....

Buttons & Bows

After my grand-daughter's left with their parents I spend some time playing around with my new Rubberstamp Tapestry stamps again. I then mounted them onto card stock then added some embellishments. I decided to call them 'buttons and bows' for obvious reasons. I am pleased how they both turned out, but not sure what I will do with them.
