Birthday card

It has taken me longer than I thought to make my next card as my diabetes is not behaving and I have been feeling really awful these last couple of days. Not to be beaten I have struggled today and finally finished the card. It is for my DIL's birthday so hope she is not checking out my blog anytime soon.

Stamped and embossed PTI stamps and sentiment then did butterflies again and mounted them onto card. Added gems and ribbon and embossed lines.

PTI Stamps

Yesterday went well with my lady [Evelyn] from Tuesday's class who came for a play with my craft stuff. I was able to give her lots of tips on how to use peel-offs, chalks, stamps and my cuttlebug machine. I showed her how to cut out a medallion peel-off on fancy paper and then layer it. The end result was lovely - the peaches, pink & gold medallion onto black mirri card was very striking. [Sorry didn't manage to get a picture] Evelyn did another decoupage card with sheets I had given her and she did very well. It is so satisfying to see someone else get pleasure from crafting.

Today I had another play with my PTI stamps and some fancy papers that I had lying around. Made a tag out of it, added pearls and a flower to finish off. Hope you like it.

Butterflies

Update on classes yesterday they went well and my one lady managed to do the two cards with the instructions I left her. I helped her with the one I made yesterday as it was a bit fiddly but she seems to be enjoying herself. She has bought some crafting stuff and I invited her to come and play at my house on Friday so that should be interesting.

Today I made a butterfly card with my new PTI stamps and bits and pieces. I am pleased how it turned out so will be experimenting more with the stamps.

Used PTI stamps, nestabilities, mounted the card and cut
out a separate butterfly and used Glamour dust on it and
attached to front of card.
