Words

Hello again folks. I made my first A4 card today for my daughter in law's birthday. I stamped on the background swirl in a pale Brilliant moonlight white also along the curved edges. I added a corresponding border with a Martha Stewart large punch and then added a sentiment from Joanna Sheen's new Word CD including the insert and background papers. Finished off with some jewels and a few stickers to make it pop.

Noel

My new stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry arrived on Saturday so have been having a play with them. I did quite a few cards but am only showing a couple so you get the idea of what I created with them. The first I stamped then mounted onto Nestabilities and then onto Christmas background papers. I added ribbon and some pearls and lastly glamour dust.


The second card I used the Noel set to enhance one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders, then used the corner snowflake from Martha Stewart to cut out the corners. I mounted onto another cuttlebug embossed background with I think makes the image 'pop' and finally my favourite - glamour dust.

Birthday cards

Finally I have my computer back and have spend the morning uploading photos of my cards - some birthday and some Christmas onto my blog. Hope you like them.

First one is for a friend who will be celebrating her 65th birthday next month. Used Penny Black stamp and coloured with my Prismacolour pencils. [Did buy some Promarkers but can't get the hang of them yet]. Mounted and layered and added ribbon, sentiments, and jewels.


Second one is for another friend who has birthday in December. Again used a couple of Penny Black stamps, coloured again with Prismas, layered and added ribbon and jewels. Finally used Martha Stewart punch. Did do another two birthday ones but can't show them yet in case friends see them on blog.
