Belated class effort

This was going to be my Tuesday craft class lesson but I never got there - have been bedded for a couple of days. Am still feeling very tired but at least I am up and around today so thought I would post the lesson sample anyway. My one lady [the other is still in hospital] wants to do some decoupage so I came up with this simple medallion which I got from the Fred she said site. I made up a sheet on Microsoft Publisher and the background is also a Fred she said. I am hoping to see her maybe tomorrow and pass on the stuff so she can have a go at making it up herself.

A bit of Nestabilites, Fisker's edging Water punch, ribbon and flowers and we are all set.

Friendship

Made this with some Fred she said flowers for a friend who is a bit depressed at the moment. Hope she likes it.

Monday Blues

Monday again, and although I am feeling loads better still don't feel 100% myself, just can't put my finger on it, so to speak. Well was going out to lunch with a friend today but she phoned and cancelled as she wasn't feel too good either.
Will gives me time to catch up on some stuff and post this card which I made yesterday. Another Rachelle Anne Miller stamp which I bought and love, hope you like it too!

Another Challenge

I am suffering badly from neuralgia today and popping painkillers like sweets. Thought I would have a go at another challenge to keep my mind of off the pain. This week it is Papertake Weekly Challenge. I used one of my new stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller and my Prisma pencils. A bit fiddly to do as image has loads of colours in it. Papers are from Kate Knight and rest is from my stash.

Hope you like it and thanks for dropping by........

Meantime to keep you folks going I have made another Sarah Kay card and borrowed

Choices!

Monday again, another week and hopefully some nice weather on its way. Today is gorgeous here, warm and sunny which I crave! After doing some clearing up, washing etc I made another card for my customer so that she has a choice - either the Fred said flowers or this one. Which one do you think she will choose?

Decoupaged water lily and glazed it, added background paper, nestabilities, ribbon and jewels from stash.

UPDATE - she choose the Fred said flowers card!

Son's Birthday

I also made a card for my oldest son's birthday and as he is a football fan I thought the La Pashe series would be perfect. I mounted the card onto a canvas back so that he can hang it like a small picture and I also made a box for it. Hope you like it.

Haste ye back................

Flowers

Thought I would show you some pictures of my flowers from the garden. Considering the weather we have been having they are not bad [if I say so myself]. What do you think?

Busy Lizzies
Nasturtiums
RoseDianthusChocolate Cosmos

Lilies

Hydrangea

I know a lot of you ladies like to make decoupage sheets and background ones with flowers so feel free to download the pictures if you would like to use them.

Feeling real poorly today so not doing much on my blog. Have terrible headaches and my neck, back and shoulders really hurt, even my sight is blurred. Asked OH to take in something for the tea as I don't feel up to cooking tonight. Will hopefully feel more like myself tomorrow and back into some crafting.
Take care all. Haste ye back........

Stamping

Well the painter is here at last, so while I am banished to my dining room I thought I would make a card for one of the ladies that comes to my crafting class as she is in hospital.
Hopefully she will be back home next week and feeling a bit better.

I played around with some more of my stamps, really getting back into stamping with all the brilliant blogs on the go just now.
Click on the picture to enlarge

I used a Hero Arts stamp and also some of my Rubber Tapestry stamps for around the edges and the butterfly. The inks are Brilliance dew drops and Versa Color, Laura Ashley papers and some from my stash. The flower is coffee and streaked with the Brilliance dew drops which gave it a lovely two tone colour but the picture does not do it justice.

I've been Tagged!

Looks like I have been well and truly tagged by Joanie, [might have been by Cazz a while back but was on holiday] so here goes ladies......

What was I up to 10 years ago........

I was working as an Administration Manager for a small double glazing firm. I loved my job as I was my own boss more or less and left to run the office apart from an office junior to help. Due to ill health I had to give it up in 2002 and am now retired. Previously I had been a Lettings Officer with Scottish Homes another job which I loved but was made redundant in 1997 the same year I started with the glazing company.

5 Things to do list......................
1. Get some washing done.
2. Clean up after the painter has left.
3. Update by blog!
4. Go make some cards
5. Catch with my friends on the forum!

Snacks I enjoy....................
Any kind of fruit I love, strawberries and cherries being my absolute favourites, the odd packet of raisins, a fruit scone as an occasional treat, I loved a bit of chocolate now and again but now it's a no no because of my diabetes. Mostly I sit at my computer with just drinks of water to keep me going. Sounds boring eh!

Things I would do if I was a Millionaire.............
Firstly I would see that my family had their dream homes and some money in the bank to make them feel secure.
I would buy a house with a gorgeous view and big enough to have that all important craft room that I have always wanted. I would then go on a holiday to all the places in the world I have longed to visit and spend more time with our extended family in Canada.
I would hire a chef to cook for me all the healthy foods that I am supposed to eat and not have to worry about calories anymore as someone else would do that for me! Maybe even my own weight trainer - who knows!
I would give generously to all my favourite charities and it would be so nice to have some money left in the bank to be able to just go out and spend - craft shops look out!

Places I have lived............
That's an easy one as apart from Brechin for the last 4 years I have lived in various parts of Aberdeen all my life.

Thats all my questions answered, all I have to do now is Tag some people!

The people I will Tag are.................

BevR
Toni
Karen
Margaret A
Cazz

I hope it got it right and sorry folks if you have been tagged before.

Tuesday craft

Tuesday again and off to do my voluntary work again. Didn't have a clue what to do this time so opted for making a bookmark to get the ladies used to stamping and using inks. I used my rubber tapestry stamps, versa inks and will have a go at getting them to use a crop-a-dile - should be fun!

Had a look at my stamps and decided to use one of my favourites and made this card.

Haste ye back.....
